Christmas is an annual festival celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. During this time people like decorating their houses, parks, cities and schools to celebrate with their family and friends.

Nativity scenes in Colombia

In Colombia, it is a popular Christmas tradition to set up nativity scenes, known as "pesebres" or "nacimientos." These scenes portray the birth of Jesus and typically include figures of Mary, Joseph, the Baby Jesus, the Three Wise Men, shepherds, and animals.

In some Colombian schools, the nativity scene is also integrated into the Christmas celebrations. Teachers and students decorate classroom doors or create a dedicated corner where they set up a nativity scene.
